With the increasing popularity of social networking sites people are gathering and sharing information in new ways. To help keep you better informed of what’s happening in the PNA we have several tools available for you that augment our website and RSS feeds. Now we have two Twitter feeds that you can take advantage of on your mobile phone or computer. @pnacog provides general updates and information sharing. @pnaprayer is a private update of prayer requests. We also have a Facebook group that can help you connect with people from across our district. In addition, we have a group on MyCHOG, the Church of God social network.

Church Financial Management and Compliance Seminar

In an effort to help churches with the myriad of laws and requirements that affect them the PNA is sponsoring a special seminar for church treasurers, board members and pastors. The seminar will be held on July 23, 2010 as part of Climb ‘10 and features Dr. Julie Nance of ABC’s of Church Management. More information, including registration, is available on our website. Junior Camp

The 2010 PNA camp for children ages 9-11 is July 29-August 1 at Double K Christian Retreat Center. This year’s theme is “Heroes”, focusing on the models children follow and are to others around them. Men’s Retreat

Climb ‘10

Registration information is now available for Climb ‘10, the annual PNA Camp and Conference, July 20-25 at Double K Christian Retreat Center.

Climb is an event for the entire family, one that provides our churches a unique opportunity for renewal, fellowship and recreation. Special attention will be given to the equipping and strengthening of church leaders. This year only we are veering slightly from our regular format to help you become better acquainted with the ministries of our member churches. Watch for more details!

(Climb ‘10 will be preceded by the Senior Adult Camp, July 18-20)

New SHAPE Administrative Assistant

SHAPE Northwest (a cooperative venture of the PNA and the Oregon / Southwest Washington district) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gwen Johnson as our new Administrative Assistant, effective February 1st. Gwen has considerable ministry experience, including as a missionary with her husband John, who is a professor at Warner Pacific College.
